Abstract
GARCIA LIRIOS, Cruz. Beliefs regarding the induced abortion in a public hospital. Rev. costarric. salud pública [online]. 2013, vol.22, n.1, pp.14-19. ISSN 1409-1429.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to establish the psychometric properties of an instrument that weighs beliefs around abortion. Method: They conducted a correlational study and cross-probabilistic sample of 120 beneficiaries of a public hospital located in a country center entity. Materials: Scale was constructed around Beliefs Induced Abortion (ECAI) which included 17 reagents with two response options: true or false. Results:To establish there liability was estimated multivariate kurtosis -2,578 an alpha of 0,73 and 0,832 sphericity with significant adaptation. Established a reflective structural model (X2 = 16,25; 11gl, p = 0,055, GFI = 0,975, RMR = 0,008) that was adjusted to the measurement model (GFI = 0,90, RMR = 0,01). Discussion: We recommend the inclusion of other variables such as religion, local customs to explain possible regional models legally induced abortion practices.
