Abstract
BORGE-LEANDRO, David and MORERA-DELGADO, Alejandro Antonio. Control de flujo de detritos por medio de barreras dinámicas en el trópico, como medio de adaptación al cambio climático, cantón central de Aserrí, quebrada Burío. Tecnología en Marcha [online]. 2023, vol.36, n.2, pp.155-168. ISSN 0379-3982. http://dx.doi.org/10.18845/tm.v36i1.5844.
As of 2020 in Costa Rica only exist therr dynamic barriers installed, two of them are in Quebrada Burío. Climate change is a determining factor in the face of the increase of rainfall intensities. An increase of 20% is expected for the year 2100, so this data is taken into account to perform all the hydrological calculations of the case study. At the same time, the implementation of Iber 2.5.1 model is totally necessary to understand the hydrodynamic behavior of the stream and also the behavior of its suspended sediments. Data such as hydrographs, elevations obtained through orthophotos of drone flights, and sediment concentration are the pillars to generate a model for this case. The speed, height of the water and vector behavior are the results obtained from the hydrodynamic model generated by Iber 2.5.1. As well as the behavior of sediments.
