The purpose of this research was to know if the leadership is related with each generation and if generational differences influence in the perception of their leaders; the Multifactorial Leadership Questionnaire MLQ was applied to 61 employees in a financial institution in the Imbabura province of Ecuador; the results were that transformational leadership and generation Millennial predominate; the variables are not related because the preference was concentrated on transformational leadership regardless the generation; this leadership achieves in people results based on effectiveness, satisfaction and extra effort, without relating the generation to which they belong.
