The central topic of this essay is the Constantino Láscaris Comneno's educational thought. He was a Spanish and Costa Rican philosopher who has influenced in Costa Rican education and culture since his work as a lecturer and as a culture divulgator. The analysis focuses on his general ideas about education, his concept of pedagogy and his conception about teaching. In this essay, the analysis sources are academic papers as well as opinion articles written by the author.
