This article systematizes the experience of the project "State of the rights of children and adolescence" (EDNA): its origins, management model, alliances, contributions and challenges of an agenda committed to protect and promote the rights of this population. The document emphasizes during the period 20072012; the preparation and contents of seven reports showing the historical development and inflections on the rights of child population; and the role of the academy to analyze, lead, bring together and propitiate joint efforts within intersectoral, interdisciplinary and inter- agencies on behalf of this group.
