Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present an integrated view of ontological systems as they contribute to the systematization of pedagogical processes in the student education. Different fields like philosophy, neuroscience, psychology and artificial intelligence significantly contribute to this purpose. Consequently, it is developed a review of studies assessed as meaningful, in this approach, is conducted, and as a conclusion, a perspective of pedagogy from the ontological point of view is introduced. This work does not pretend to show a pedagogical ontology, but to address the potential of regional ontologies in the pedagogical communication and the meaningful learning.
