Abstract

SANCHEZ SANCHEZ, Gerardo Ignacio  and  JARA AMIGO, Ximena Elizabeth. Initial Awareness of Their Own Teaching Process, as Perceived by a Group of In-Practice High School Teachers. Rev. Actual. Investig. Educ [online]. 2015, vol.15, n.3, pp.294-315. ISSN 1409-4703.

The article focuses on the initial vision of his teaching work that 50 students of media pedagogy begin to build from their teaching practices in schools. The results show that the most complex dimensions of teaching are: the relationship with students the school environment, the assessment of learning and culture of the school. At that scenario require of the university the implementation of early practical experiences faces the challenges of the educational reality, so the skills, procedures and patterns of action set from the theory makes sense, favoring the relationship theory - practice. The qualitative approach, supported by Grounded Theory (Glaser & Strauss, 2004), the technique used to collect the information is used the Critical Incident. The research was conducted at the regional campus of a university, located 200 miles south of Santiago de Chile.
