The case of an asthmatic and diabetic patient with chronic respiratory disease and eosinophilia, who died consequence of acute respiratory distress, is presented in this article. A stool sample positive for Strongyloidesstercoralis was documented. In the autopsy, a disseminated infection of this parasite was the major finding.
