The neurocardiogenic syncopc is one of the reflex syncopes. lt is very frequent in clinical practice and its diagnostics is relatively easy. In the past, many of these syncopes were classified as of undetermined cause. A basic understanding of syncopes and related disorders is essential for the diagnosis and its proper treatment. The tilt test is very important in this context. This article provides an overview of these conditions, their pathophysiology, clinical features, head-up tilttable testing responsos, pharmacologie and non pharmacologic therapy.
