This scientific article aims to compile the primary contributions of investigating well-being manifestations based on the experiences of men in middle adulthood who have experienced a separation. The general objective is to analyze these proposed manifestations from well-being. Both national and international investigations have been studied to contextualize the research findings on the topic of well-being and couple relationships. In terms of guidance, the study considers the three fundamental pillars characterizing the discipline: prevention, social intervention, and development. It underscores that the discipline can offer precise alternatives facilitating the comprehensive growth of individuals with experiences of separation in mid-adulthood. The research employs a qualitative approach and a phenomenological methodology. In-depth interviews were conducted with six men in middle adulthood to gain a deeper understanding of their experiences and feelings. This methodology proved instrumental in elucidating the perspectives of the participating groups through their collected testimonies. The authors utilized consistency tables to analyze the information and to contrast relevant bibliography with the narratives of the participants. As part of the findings, a series of strategies are proposed, including principles applicable in the counseling environment. Notably, the support among equals is highlighted as valuable during the separation process. Recommending the articulation of such processes, where men can explore their emotions in a group setting, is emphasized. This collective exploration is suggested to generate tools that enhance their levels of well-being.
