This article analyzes, from various perspectives, the Human Right to Water. It examines both its characteristics as established by international organizations and from the epistemological perspective of the Critical Theory of Human Rights. For this approach, two recent case studies in the central american region are taken as examples, where a precedent of resistance for this right in the international system.
