The Body Donation Program of the School of Medicine of the University of Costa Rica, as part of its third anniversary, carried out the first edition of the PRODOCU 2021 poetry contest, in collaboration with the EC-288 project - Promotion, development and dissemination of creative writing in foreign languages, with the intention that the university population would write and express the “Importance of body donation for teaching and research in Costa Rica.”

The contest was open to students, administrators, teachers and graduates of the University of Costa Rica from all majors and all campuses in the country. There was a total participation of 30 poems, from different campuses and majors at the University of Costa Rica. He first place also became the emblem poem of the Body Donation Program to be used in future tributes to donors.
