La determinación de la composición del biogás por cromatografía es un método que consume tiempo, recursos y detalla innecesariamente un amplio espectro de elementos. Debido al interés por el metano en biogás, se ha desarrollado una técnica por columnas de desplazamiento para la determinación de volumen y flujo de muy bajo caudal. Se implementa un procedimiento indirecto para estimar la presencia de metano en altas proporciones mediante sensores de bajo costo, ideados para concentraciones del 1% en volumen.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract It describes an automatic process implemented through the use of the Siemens LOGO controller for measuring volume, flow and methane concentration in biogas produced by cellulosic substrates. It determines the composition of biogas without the time consuming and unnecessarily detailed chromatography method. Due to the interest in methane in biogas, a technique has been developed by means of displacement columns for determining volume and low flow. An indirect procedure has been implemented to estimate high proportions of methane, using inexpensive sensors designed for concentrations of 1% in volume.]]></p></abstract>
