Although rare, accounting for only 0.2-0.5% of all ovarian neoplasms, SLCT is one of the main differencial diagnoses when there is androgenization, especially in young women. Most behave clinically as low-grade malignancies and are detected in early stages, which allow a conservative surgical treatment, usually with good prognosis and survival rates. In this article, two typical cases of SLCT with virilization syndrome are described and discussed, along with a brief literature review.
</abstract>
