De ahí la importancia de evaluarlas. Este estudio explora el grado de coincidencia entre la percepción de profesores, monitores y estudiantes acerca de las habilidades para la vida, que se desarrollan en cuatro asignaturas electivas de la Universidad del Rosario Colombia. Las percepciones se obtuvieron por medio de tres métodos de recolección: grupos focales, observación participativa y un cuestionario. Los resultados mostraron un porcentaje de coincidencia entre los y las participantes Sobre cuáles habilidades se desarrollaron, los resultados mostraron un porcentaje de coincidencia entre los y las participantes de 34,8% en la electiva de Enología, 55% en el Taller de Escritura Creativa, 80% en la electiva enfocada en el manejo del estrés y 94% en la electiva de Mapa de Sentidos; la coincidencia general fue de 66%. Al final se discute que, si bien es cierto las electivas están enfocadas de forma adecuada para conseguir una educación para la academia, también lo está para la vida. Es necesario establecer de forma previa y mesurable las habilidades a desarrollar en cada asignatura y de qué manera, con el fin de optimizar los resultados de aprendizaje y tener un impacto acorde a los objetivos de las asignaturas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract:Life skills are indispensable for a student's future performance, so it is essential to evaluate the degree to which they are developed through the academic curriculum. The present study explores how much the perceptions of teachers, monitors, and students coincide about the life skills they develop in four elective courses at Universidad del Rosario - Colombia. Perceptions were obtained through three different collection methods: focus groups, participatory observation, and a questionnaire. The results showed a percentage of agreement among the participants on which skills are developed of 34.8% in the Oenology elective class, 55% in the Creative Writing Workshop, 80% in an elective class focused on stress management, and 94% in the Map of Senses elective class (general agreement 66%). In the end, it is discussed that, while it is true that the elective classes' focus is to achieve not only an education for the academic world but also for real life. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust in a prior and measurable way which are the skills to be developed in each subject and in what way, in order to optimize learning outcomes and have an impact concomitant to the courses' objectives.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo: Habilidades Para a Vida são indispensáveis para o desempenho futuro dos estudantes, portanto é importante avaliar o grau em que estas se desenvolvem no currículo acadêmico. Este estudo explora a coincidência de percepções tanto de professores, monitores e estudantes sobre a habilidades para a vida que desenvolvem em quatro disciplinas optativas da Universidad del Rosario - Colômbia. As percepções foram obtidas por três métodos de coletas diferentes: grupos focais, observação participativa e um questionário. Os resultados mostraram porcentagens entre os e as participantes sobre quais habilidades são desenvolvidas de 34,8% na optativa de Enologia, 55% na Oficina de Escritura Criativa, 80% na optativa de orientada ao manejo do estresse e de 94% na optativa de Mapa de Sentidos (coincidência geral 66%). No final, discute-se que, embora seja verdade que as optativas estão focadas de forma adequada para alcançar apenas uma educação para a vida acadêmica, mas também para a vida, é preciso ajustar de forma prévia e mensurável quais habilidades são desenvolvidas em cada disciplina e de que forma, com o fim de otimizar os resultados de aprendizagem e causar impacto de acordo com os objetivos das disciplinas.]]></p></abstract>
