Esta compleja situación exige el planteamiento de una pregunta: ¿qué hemos aprendido de las pasadas investigaciones para encontrar propuestas de utilización más exitosas a partir de los resultados alcanzados? A partir de las respuestas a este dilema, este artículo reflexiona sobre la necesidad de encauzar la investigación de las TIC hacia nuevas direcciones, con nuevas metodologías, nuevos diseños de investigación y orientaciones hacia nuevos problemas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Summary: Despite the evolutionary process that educational research focused on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) has undergone, it still does not offer answers to teachers to incorporate them and thereby transform educational practice. This complex situation requires asking a question: what have we learned from past research to find more successful proposals for use based on the results achieved? Based on the answers to this dilemma, this article reflects on the need to channel ICT research in new directions, with new methodologies, new research designs and orientations towards new problems.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo: Apesar do processo evolutivo que a pesquisa educacional focada nas Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TICs) sofreu, ela ainda não fornece aos professores as respostas necessárias para incorporálas e dessa maneira transformar a prática educacional. Esta situação complexa exige questionar: o que foi que aprendemos com as pesquisas anteriores a fim de encontrar propostas bem sucedidas para sua utilização com base nos resultados alcançados? Com base nas respostas a este dilema, este artigo reflete sobre a necessidade de canalizar a pesquisa em TIC em novas direções, com novas metodologias, novos desenhos de pesquisa e novas orientações de problemas.]]></p></abstract>
