<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.sa.cr/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S2215-41322021000200073&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.sa.cr/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S2215-41322021000200073&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.sa.cr/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S2215-41322021000200073&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: El presente artículo sistematiza los resultados de la investigación por medio de la cual se identifica la forma cómo la estrategia aprendizaje basado en proyectos, puede aportar para el desarrollo de la cultura estadística respecto a las medidas de dispersión del estudiantado que se encuentra en un contexto rural y cursan el grado undécimo en la Institución Educativa San Isidro, ubicado en Colombia. Esta investigación se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cualitativo y de acuerdo con los lineamientos de la investigación acción participativa. En primer lugar, se revisa la literatura que aborda teóricamente, entre otros temas, la enseñanza de la estadística, medidas de dispersión, cultura estadística y aprendizaje basado en proyectos. Luego, según el diseño metodológico, se efectúa un diagnóstico que mostró la necesidad de implementar la estrategia pedagógica ABP (Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos) para abordar el tema medidas de dispersión, en la búsqueda del uso, interpretación y argumentación crítica. En cuanto a la ejecución del ABP se hace en medio de un aislamiento social y, por lo tanto, se rediseña el proceder en el aula por actividades de trabajo en casa. Respecto a los resultados de este proceso permitieron concluir que, aunque se alcanzaron logros significativos en cuanto al desarrollo de un proyecto y el manejo de datos, por situaciones como el aislamiento social no se llegó a los niveles de cultura estadística esperados, situación que deja como mayor reflexión que, al implementar este tipo de estrategias, resulta fundamental la interacción del estudiante con sus compañeros y la comunicación constante con el docente.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Summary: This paper systematizes the results of the research by means of which one identifies the way in which the project-based learning strategy can contribute to the development of the statistical culture. This with regard to the dispersion measures of the student body in a rural context and who are in the eleventh grade at the San Isidro Educational Institution, located in Colombia. This research was developed under a qualitative approach and in accordance with the guidelines of participatory action research. First, the literature that theoretically addresses, among other topics, the teaching of statistics, dispersion measures, statistical culture and project- based learning is reviewed. Then, according to the methodological design, a diagnosis is made that showed the need to implement the PBL (Project-Based Learning) pedagogical strategy to address the issue of dispersion measures, in the search for use, interpretation and critical argumentation. As for the execution of the PBL, it takes place in the midst of social isolation and, therefore, the procedure in the classroom is redesigned for work activities at home. The results of this process, allowed the conclusion that, although significant achievements were made in terms of the development of a project and data management, due to situations such as social isolation, the expected levels of statistical culture were not reached. This situation leaves a greater reflection that, when implementing this type of strategies, the interaction of the student with his/her classmates and the constant communication with the teacher is essential]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo: Este artigo sistematiza os resultados da pesquisa através da qual identifica como a estratégia de aprendizagem baseada em projetos pode contribuir para o desenvolvimento da cultura estatística com respeito às medidas de dispersão de estudantes que estão em um contexto rural e estão na décima primeira série do ensino médio na Institución Educativa San Isidro, localizado na Colômbia. Esta pesquisa foi desenvolvida sob uma abordagem qualitativa e de acordo com as diretrizes da pesquisa de ação participativa. Em primeiro lugar, a literatura que teoricamente aborda, entre outros tópicos, o ensino de estatística, medidas de dispersão, cultura estatística e aprendizagem baseada em projetos é revista. Depois, de acordo com o desenho metodológico, é feito um diagnóstico que mostrou a necessidade de implementar a estratégia pedagógica ABP (Aprendizagem Baseada em Projetos) para abordar o tema das medidas de dispersão, na busca do uso, interpretação e argumentação crítica. Quanto à implementação do ABP, ela é feita em meio ao isolamento social e, portanto, o procedimento da sala de aula é redesenhado por atividades de trabalho em casa. Com relação aos resultados deste processo, concluiu-se que, embora tenham sido alcançados resultados significativos em termos de desenvolvimento de um projeto e gestão de dados, devido a situações como o isolamento social, não foram alcançados os níveis esperados de cultura estatística, uma situação que deixa como uma grande reflexão que, ao implementar este tipo de estratégia, a interação dos alunos com seus colegas e a comunicação constante com o professor é essencial]]></p></abstract>
