Del estudio participaron 109 alumnos de educación superior, de tres instituciones argentinas, Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto, Universidad de Mendoza e Instituto Superior María Inmaculada. Para la recolección de datos se utilizaron dos cuestionarios con preguntas cerradas y uno con preguntas abiertas. Los resultados mostraron que los estudiantes tienden a percibirse comprometidos y valorar positivamente el clima del aula mediado por plataformas digitales como modelo de educación emergente en respuesta al virus responsable de la COVID-19. Lo encontrado, ilumina futuros estudios que buscarán expandir los escenarios educativos para extender el clima de la clase en pos del compromiso académico de los estudiantes y de la mano de las nuevas tecnologías.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: The research presented was aimed at understanding the perspectives built by remote students on assumed academic commitment and virtual classroom climate in the context of a pandemic at the higher level of education. 109 students of higher education participated in the study, from three Argentine institutions, the National University of Río Cuarto, the University of Mendoza and the María Inmaculada Higher Institute. For data gathering, two questionnaires with closed questions and one with open questions were used. The results showed that students tend to perceive themselves as engaged and positively value the classroom climate mediated by digital platforms as an emerging education model in response to the virus responsible for COVID-19. The findings illuminate future studies that will seek to expand educational settings to extend the classroom climate in pursuit of students&#8217; academic engagement and hand in hand with new technologies.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo: A pesquisa aqui apresentada visava compreender as perspectivas construídas pelos estudantes remotos sobre o engajamento acadêmico e o clima de sala de aula virtual no contexto de uma pandemia no nível de ensino superior. O estudo envolveu 109 estudantes do ensino superior, de três instituições argentinas, Universidade Nacional de Rio Cuarto, Universidade de Mendoza e Instituto Superior María Inmaculada. Dois questionários com perguntas fechadas e um com perguntas abertas foram usados para a coleta de dados. Os resultados mostraram que os estudantes tendem a se perceber como comprometidos e valorizam positivamente o clima de sala de aula mediado pelas plataformas digitais como um modelo de educação emergente em resposta ao vírus responsável pela COVID-19. As descobertas iluminam estudos futuros que procurarão expandir os cenários educacionais para ampliar o clima da sala de aula em busca do compromisso acadêmico dos estudantes e de mãos dadas com as novas tecnologias.]]></p></abstract>
