Con base en dicha presentación general de conceptos, luego se expone una síntesis de tres estudios empíricos realizados en Costa Rica en la perspectiva cognitivo-evolutiva, para proponer después una visión sintética de los resultados de investigación obtenidos en dichos estudios. En el ensayo se procura ofrecer un énfasis específico sobre esos resultados. Luego, para finalizar, se contrastan algunos puntos de vista relevantes provenientes de los estudios sintetizados, respecto a los conceptos del modelo cognitivo-evolutivo del desarrollo moral, tratando de enfatizar en la contribución que pueden ofrecer para la comprensión del desarrollo psicológico moral de las personas jóvenes, en el contexto costarricense. Así pues, queda resaltada la importancia de la reflexión y la motivación moral en el desarrollo de las personas jóvenes en conexión con los procesos de cambio en la sociedad costarricense.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[AbstractIn this essay it's exposed conceptual elements of cognitive-developmental model of moral psychology from Piaget to Kohlberg through until Gibbs approach. Based on this overview of concepts, syntheses of three empirical studies, set out in Costa Rica are presented. Then, it's proposed a research results synthetic view, obtained in these studies. In this way the essay seeks to provide a specific emphasis on those results. Finally, some relevant points of view from the synthesized studies are contrasted with cognitive-developmental model concepts, trying to emphasize the contribution they can offer, for understanding the moral psychological development of young people in Costa Rican context. Thus, it is highlighted the importance of moral reflection and motivation in young people development, in connection with Costa Rican society process of change.]]></p></abstract>
