El objetivo del presente trabajo fue evaluar el efecto de diferentes manejos nutricionales en el rendimiento y, la calidad interna y externa de los frutos de tomate, como alternativa a la disminución de fertilizantes minerales. La investigación se desarrolló en el Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Agrícolas (INCA) de Cuba, entre el 15 septiembre y el 30 de noviembre de 2016. Bajo un diseño de bloques al azar con cuatro réplicas, se estudiaron cuatro tratamientos: control absoluto (sin fertilizante mineral y sin bioproductos), nutrición parcial ecológica (50% del fertilizante mineral + bioproductos: micorrizas y bioestimulante), nutrición orgánica (abono orgánico + bioproductos: micorrizas y bioestimulante) y nutrición convencional (solo fertilizante mineral NPK). Se realizaron evaluaciones referidas al rendimiento agrícola y sus componentes, la calidad bromatológica de los frutos (ºBx, acidez, contenidos de vitamina C y nitratos) e índices de postcosecha (firmeza de frutos y diámetro de endocarpio y mesocarpio). El rendimiento agrícola (25,31 t/ha) y calidad interna de los frutos (5,23 oBrix; 11,75 SST; 73,29 de nitratos; 18,54 de vitamina C y 4,45 de materia seca), en el tratamiento donde se prescindió del 50% de la fertilización mineral, el cual se complementó con bioproductos, no tuvo diferencias significativas con el tratamiento de solo NPK. En la variante orgánica el resultado en rendimiento agrícola fue inferior (19,42 t/ha), con respecto al control y la variante ecológica. Por tanto, se sugiere continuar evaluando el efecto de la reducción de la fertilización mineral en el cultivo del tomate a partir de su combinación con bioproductos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  The conversion of high-input agriculture to an agro-ecological approach bring harmony to the environment reducing degraded Agroecosystems. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of different nutritional management on yield and internal and external quality of tomato fruits as an alternative to the reduction of mineral fertilizers. The research was carried out at the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences (INCA) in Cuba, from September 15 to November 30, 2016. A randomized block design with four replications was used to study four treatments: Absolute control (without mineral fertilizer and bioproducts), Partial ecological nutrition (50 % of mineral fertilizer + bioproducts: mycorrhiza and biostimulant), Organic nutrition (organic fertilizer + bioproducts: mycorrhiza and biostimulant), and Conventional nutrition (NPK mineral fertilizer only). Evaluations regarding agricultural yield and its components, bromatological quality of fruits (brix, acidity, vitamin C content, and nitrates) and postharvest indeces (fruit firmness and diameter of endocarp and mesocarp) were performed. Agricultural yield (25.31 t/ha) and the internal quality of fruits (5.23 °Brix; 11.75 SST; 73.29 nitrates; 18.54 vitamin C, and 4.45 dry matter) applying the treatment where 50% of mineral fertilization was dispensed andcomplemented by bioproducts did not show significant differences with NPK treatment. Regarding the organic variant, the result in agricultural yield was lower (19.42 t/ha), in comparison with control and the ecological variant.
