El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo identificar los factores sociodemográficos asociados a las preferencias de metodologías de aprendizaje de las estudiantes de Licenciatura Infantil de una universidad de Medellín.  Metodología. Enfoque cuantitativo, con una muestra de 160 estudiantes, los resultados obtenidos se asociaron según la prueba estadística Chi-cuadrado con un nivel de significación menor del 5%.  Análisis de Resultados. Se identificaron cuatro metodologías de aprendizaje que en las estudiantes dejaron alguna recordación, ya sea por lecciones aprendidas o por la rutina de las diferentes clases. De las 13 variables estudiadas, se encontró que la tipología familiar tiene asociación directa con la metodología de aprendizaje que prefieren las estudiantes para alcanzar el aprendizaje significativo, investigaciones han relacionado estas dos variables, pero no incluyen estudios realizados para educandos a nivel universitario.  Conclusiones. Se sugiere realizar un estudio donde se logre evidenciar la relación del factor familiar, y otros factores sociodemográficos en la elección del tipo de estudio. Esto podría considerar diversos factores desde el entorno familiar hasta su desarrollo académico antes de ingresar a la universidad.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  Objective.  This work aims to identify the sociodemographic factors influencing the learning methodology preferences of students enrolled in a Childhood Education Bachelor&#8217;s Degree program at a University in Medellín, Colombia.  Methodology.  A quantitative approach study was conducted with a sample of 160 students. The results obtained were associated according to the Chi-square statistical test with a significance level of less than 5%.  Analysis of results. Four learning methodologies were identified in the students. They still remember these methodologies either because of lessons learned or because of the routine of different classes at the university. From the 13 variables considered, the study found that the family typology is directly associated with the learning methodology that students prefer to achieve meaningful learning; many studies have linked these two variables, but they do not include other studies conducted for students at the university level.  Conclusions. It is suggested to carry out a study that can show the relation of the family factor and other sociodemographic factors with choosing the type of study. This can consider various factors from the family background to the academic development before starting university studies.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo  Objetivo.  O objetivo deste trabalho é identificar os fatores sociodemográficos que influenciam a preferência da metodologia de aprendizagem das estudantes da licenciatura infantil em uma Universidade de Medellín.  Metodologia.  Abordagem quantitativa, com uma amostra de 160 estudantes, os resultados obtidos foram associados de acordo com o teste estatístico Qui-quadrado com nível de significância inferior a 5%.  Análise dos resultados.  Foram identificadas quatro metodologias de aprendizagem que ficaram na memória das estudantes, seja pelas lições aprendidas, seja pela rotina das diferentes aulas. Das 13 variáveis estudadas, verificou-se que a tipologia familiar tem uma associação direta com a metodologia de aprendizagem preferidas pelas estudantes para alcançar uma aprendizagem significativa, muitas pesquisas têm relacionado essas duas variáveis, mas não contempla estudos realizados para estudantes de nível universitário.  Conclusões.  Sugere-se a realização de um estudo onde seja possível demonstrar a relação do fator família, e outros fatores sociodemográficos na escolha do tipo de estudo. Isso pode levar em consideração vários fatores, desde a formação familiar até o seu desenvolvimento acadêmico antes de entrar na faculdade.]]></p></abstract>
