Vikingo. Se obtuvieron más frutos totales por planta (14,71) pero de menor peso promedio (163,96 g) cuando se utilizó poda española que cuando se aplicó poda holandesa (10,65 frutos/planta; 180,30 g/fruto). Con la poda española se obtuvo un mayor número total de frutos/m2 (46,99) y un mayor rendimiento total (76,35 ton/ha) y comercial (67,35 ton/ha) que con la poda holandesa (34,11 frutos/m2; 61,17 ton/ha y 52,37 ton/ha, respectivamente). La densidad de siembra no afectó el peso promedio total de los frutos ni el número total de frutos/ m2, pero el rendimiento total y comercial fue mayor a la densidad de 3,90 plantas/m2 (75,75 y 65,83 ton/ha, respectivamente) y el número de frutos por planta fue mayor a la densidad de 2,60 plantas/m2 (14,63 frutos/planta). Los tratamientos que presentaron el mayor rendimiento total y el mayor número de frutos totales/m2 fueron la poda española, tanto a 2,60 plantas/m2 (75,60 ton/ ha; 45,01 frutos/m2) como a 3,90 plantas/m2 (84,30 ton/ha; 52,90 frutos/m2).]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The effect of two types of pruning (Spanish and Dutch) and three planting densities (2,60; 3,25; and 3,90 plants/m2) on the yield and quality of bell pepper cv.
