El experimento se desarrolló durante el ciclo agrícola primavera-verano 2013. Se estudiaron 3 factores de variación: 1) labranza completa y mínima); 2) aplicación de composta, con 17,8 t.ha-1 y sin composta; 3) densidades de siembra: 4, 6, 8 a 16 plantas por m2. El diseño experimental fue de bloques al azar, con parcelas subdivididas y 4 repeticiones: las parcelas grandes correspondieron a 2 preparaciones de suelo, la sub parcela a la fertilización y la parcela pequeña a 4 densidades de siembra. Las unidades experimentales fueron parcelas de 3,0 x 5,6 m (16,8 m2), de las cuales se tomaron 6 surcos centrales como parcela útil (8,4 m2). La mayor producción en biomasa o materia seca total (10,15±1,9 t.ha-1) correspondió a los tratamientos con preparación completa: 16 plantas por m2 y aplicación de composta (65 N; 0,54 P kg.ha-1). La producción de materia seca aumentó (p&lt;0,05) en función de las densidades: 4, 6, 8 y 16 plantas por m2, de 2,76±0,62 a 2,93±0,65; de 3,30±0,89 a 4,09±0,89; de 4,82±0,68 a 5,59±0,98; y de 8,78±1,44 a 10,15±1,9 t.ha-1 de materia seca total, respectivamente. De manera similar, los tratamientos con mayor producción de materia seca de ejote fueron los sembrados a la densidad de 16 plantas por m2 (p&lt;0,05).]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[AbstractRelated to the production of Vicia faba L., beans and forage in Zaragoza, Puebla, different conditions of crop management were evaluated, such as soil preparation, fertilization and planting density. The experiment was conducted during the 2013 spring-summer crop cycle. Three variation factors were studied: 1) complete and minimum tillage; 2) compost application at 17.8 t.ha-1 and without compost; 3) planting 4, 6, 8 or 16 plants per m2. The experimental design was of randomized blocks, whith split plots and 4 replicates: large plots corresponded to 2 soil preparations, subplots to fertilization and small plots to 4 planting densities. The experimental units were plots of 3.0 x 5.6 m (16.8 m2), whose 6 central furrows were taken as the useful plot (8.4 m2). The largest production in biomass or total dry matter (10.15±1.9 t.ha-1) corresponded to treatments with complete preparation: 16 plants per m2 and application of compost (65 N; 0.54 P kg.ha-1). The dry matter production increased (p&lt;0.05) as a function of the densities: 4, 6, 8 and 16 plants per m2, from 2.76±0.62 to 2.93±0.65; from 3.30±0.89 to 4.09±0.89; from 4.82±0.68 to 5.59±0.98; and from 8.78±1.44 to 10.15±1.9 t.ha-1 of total dry matter, respectively.
