Familia Rhincodontidae – whale shark

Rhincodon typus, tiburón ballena – Coloración negra con barras verticales y manchas blancas en forma de "tablero". Es el pez de mayo r tamaño del mundo. (adaptado de Compagno, 1984 CC, IC).
