Summary: The incorporation of the stimulation of phonological awareness in the educational process in the first years of the students is an important success to intentionally develop the basis of the reading and writing processes of schoolchildren. Such good judgement is clearly reflected in the Preschool Education Study Program of the Ministry of Public Education (MEP) and the First Grade Spanish Study Program (MEP, 2013). So, motivating the metalinguistic processes through clear and graduated strategies, according to the various tasks of difficulty, which take into account the process of language acquisition, the development of listening and the characteristics of the students, is the work of the present document when we face the huge gaps on the subject of the teaching staff.
