This article reviews the action labeling in the Dramatic Action Analysis (AAD, in its Spanish acronym) for acting, according to its use in the Dramatic Arts School at the University of Costa Rica. It proposes that the action labeling may be addressed from a pragmatic view. At the same time, it justifies the validity of the analysis based on cognitive and socio-cognitive aspects.
