Abstract

VIQUEZ JIMENEZ, Alí. Camus, Dostoievski and the moral problema of revolution. Káñina [online]. 2021, vol.45, n.2, pp.249-265. ISSN 2215-2636.  http://dx.doi.org/10.15517/rk.v45i2.48186.

In this article I study the texts Demons by Dostoievsky, its theatrical adaptation by Albert Camus, and Les justes, also by Camus. The goal is to compare dostoievskyan and camusian thinking developed around the characters that represent the Russian revolutionaries. The conclusions refer to the reading and rewriting strategy that Camus operated on Dostoievsky.

Keywords : Russian literature; French literature; comparative literature; Russian novel; French drama..
