This article analyses the role of the memory and the nostalgia in the female narrator's identity in the novel El laberinto de los recuerdos (2010) by Julieta Pinto. With this intention, the analysis focuses in how the past is recalled and it also explains the importance of the childhood for the narrator and the confluence between past and present in the novel.
