Abstract

JIMENEZ RETANA, Randall. Human Improvement: Aging in the era of technoscience. InterSedes [online]. 2018, vol.19, n.40, pp.54-70. ISSN 2215-2458.  http://dx.doi.org/10.15517/isucr.v20i40.35655.

Techno-scientific development has promoted human “perfection”. At the same time, it has favored the reworking of concepts such as growing older and aspects of human nature, in general. Into this discussion ethics comes to play as an “actor,” perhaps not the most popularly invited one, but is present nonetheless.Bioethics permits visualization of meeting “points” on the horizon, and agreements attained from the plurality and multiple disciplines found based on reason.

Keywords : growing older; enhancement; ethics.
