Since agriculture is a major source of income for the canton of Grecia and neighboring places. In recent decades it has become apparent that urban growth and overall, human activities cause an imbalance in the ecology, and it is becoming more difficult for crops to develop and obtain good harvests. That is why, for appropriate land management is necessary to know the amounts of the various minerals (inorganic nutrients) it contains, thus fertilizing the land properly and compensate this degradation due to erosion and poor rotation crops. Because this is who ventures into the implementation of methods for chemical analysis of soil fertility in the Campus Chemical Laboratory of Grecia, with a view to supporting the agricultural sector of Canton.
