Abstract
BRICENO ZAMORA, Olman Antonio. A psychologist in the concentration camps: A brief biographical sketch of Viktor Emil Frankl (1905-1997). InterSedes [online]. 2013, vol.14, n.28, pp.253-261. ISSN 2215-2458.
This paper briefly approaches the life and thinking of Viktor Frankl mainly focusing on the dark events he went through World War II when he was sent to the concentration camps. A synthesis of the three phases he went though as a prisoner is presented. Then, an analysis of the psychological, sociological, anthropological connotations and his contributions to the comprehension of psychological phenomenon related to suffering from his writings is made.
