This article focuses on the writing of history about the trajectory of Everardo Days in its relation with Freemasonry and the Communist Party of Brazil (PCB) narratives. It is noticed in Everardo Days a complex and multifaceted career, which is expressed in the historiography that discusses his life and militancy. Castellani, writing from within Freemasonry, does not mention the approach of Everardo Days organizations with socialist or Marxist theory, merely presenting it as a Mason who defends the interests of the workers against the authoritarian regime of the First Republic.
