Resumo

The article presents the results of an investigation to identify the level of development of the emotional intelligence and the kinesthetic in the Physical Education of the students of the fifth cycle of the Elementary and Middle School and opinions and the teachers' valuations in this respect. The research responded to the line of development of the school curriculum, it was sustained in the qualitative paradigm, of applied educational scientific type, with descriptive-explanatory character. It was selected a random sample of 175 students and 11 teachers of the Elementary and Middle School Emilio of the Solar N° 1193, of the district of Lurigancho, Chosica in Lima, Peru. As research instruments test of Intelligence corporal kinesthetic and test of emotional intelligence were used to the students and semi-structured interview to teachers. It was obtained that 40.13% of the students of the investigated sample presents a low level of development of the emotional intelligence, while 88.76% evidences a good or very good level of the intelligence corporal kinesthetic. 100% of the teachers ones recognizes that the Physical Education should develop the dimensions of the intelligence corporal kinesthetic however alone 27% recognizes the paper of the Physical Education in the development of the emotional intelligence. As probable solution she intended a Route of learning of Physical Education that guides the didactic work of the educational one to develop the emotional intelligence and kinesthetic like essential part of the student's integral formation from the four competitions of the area: body image, healthy habits, social and motive abilities, social and emotional abilities.
