This article presents the results of a qualitative research, whose objective was defining criteria and characteristics that should be taken into account to carry out the curricular integration of pedagogical projects, about a transverse axis of citizenship education for the initial cycle students from Colegio CED Jackeline from Bogotá (Colombia). This answer to pedagogical and curricular orientations that national standards offer; some basic conceptual references on this topic, as well as, reflections and needs of different actors in the educational community, were registered across two questionnaires, two focus groups, a field diary and a matrix of the evaluation. Obtained results show investigation, type of to do integration definition, flexibility, participation of the community and the relationship between disciplinary knowledge and citizen as criteria and characteristics of an integrated curriculum model that drive towards citizen's education. Result analysis lets conclude that pedagogic projects can be integrated into a curriculum by applying interdisciplinary, researching is a tool that,let's look into realities, interests and necessities of students and, as if it, citizen education can be oriented and collaborative work and in the team is strengthened by pedagogic labour.
