This essay describes the context of the educational development of people with disabilities to walk in Mexico and the support received from international organizations and Mexican government, because their educational development is truncated for different reasons, one being the difficulty to attend an educational institution, mainly due to poor urban and transport infrastructure. This work is based on research conducted by several institutions including: the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Regional Observatory for the Information Society, the National Council for Development and Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities (CONADIS), among others. This essay is complemented with the positive results of experiences using the current technological developments that make it possible to propose an option based on the desktop video conferencing, which is inexpensive, effective and easy to implement and can be used to attend to the educational needs of individuals with functional diversity in the seeking of their educational integration.
