Abstract

In this paper an analysis of the Spanish University view from the Bologna process is presented. This reform process has raised a number of changes from a qualitative perspective, can be identified in order to establish a set of criteria to analyze and explore as has been the behavior of the university sector in the face of this reform initiative. From a qualitative perspective, the documentary and interpretative analysis of primary and secondary sources was an important aspect in the development of this article. The methodological approach focused on the following phases: Phase 1: Identification of the object of study, literature review. Phase 2: Getting the data. Phase 3: Analysis at the macro and micro (Public policies promoted by the various Spanish governments, review and analysis of laws and royal decrees, data analysis and official figures Phase 4:.. Conclusion and implications of the research The results showed greater influence of the private sector of the economy to the reorientation of public funding and encouraging that the training proposals from universities to bow to their own professional requirements of this sector. need for further progress was noted regarding the link between teaching and research. However boosting student mobility, increased interest in learning languages, positioning Spanish universities in the top 500 universities in the world for 10 consecutive years and internationally recognized research university appreciated.
