This essay frames the theoretical and practical relevance of intercultural education as a tool to generate new reviews of the educational complexity, where diversity is understood as a learning opportunity and richness, promoting the development of a more equitable and diverse educational context. The issue of youth diversity is addressed in this context from an intercultural perspective. Finally a proposal for addressing this issue is from the contributions of this educational approach, recognizing the many factors that shape youth worlds, new forms of interaction and the construction of individual and collective identities.
