Abstract

This  essay  emphasizes the  importance of  training Library and  Science of  information professionals taking in to account, skills, abilities, knowledge and the capacity to cope with change within society. Then, it highlights the role of public institutions, especially universities, in the training of qualified professionals that meet the needs arising from society. Therefore, it proposes a set of skills that the teacher and student must show and prove to ensure good academic and professional training.
