Antiplatelet agents play an important role in the management of acute coronary syndromes. Recently, glycoprotein llb/llla inhibitors have appeared in the therapeutic armamentarium. Our initial experience with small number of patient already give a good idea about the complementary role of the these agents in the management of complicated acute coronary syndromes. We demonstrated their usual and accepted indications and the potential future role as thrombolitic agents.
