This article describes the exposure to occupational risks in the work activity of the autopsy rooms, covering in a general way the conditions in which the workers of the autopsy rooms are exposed to conditions and situations during the performance of a necropsy, with the objective of generate awareness in minimizing risks by managing them through mitigation, prevention, and protection measures. For these purposes, it defines, classifies, and recommends topics regarding occupational risks, as well as proposing the creation of protocols and programs for the prevention of occupational diseases and accidents in autopsy rooms.
