Obesity is a cronic disease which has increased in the last decades, and with it, new treatments for weigth loss like the bariatric surgery. There is evidence of increase risk of self-harm and suicide in patients with bariatric surgery, which draws attention to the diagnosis of psychiatric pathology in this patients.
