It is presented a review of clinical signs for the diagnosis of the situation of final days in terminally ill patients. Initially definitions of basic concepts on the final stage of life are clarified. It also is reviewed both, ancient and recent Studies about clinical signs applicable for the diagnosis of agony. Finally we analyze changes in vital signs in the dying patients, based on current medical literature.
