The alcohol has created several problems in our social, psychological and public health problems. The liquor intake during the pregnancy can cause several changes in the fetus, especially in some organs or systems and it worsens when the amount of alcohol is higher. It hasn’t been demonstrated what secondary effects can cause to the embryo, when the alcohol intake is in lower doses, but it has been demonstrated since 1973, that it can cause the birth of babies with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
