Generally, specialist in legal medicine makes an inform about permanent disability and express the intensity of body injuries into a percentage, but almost never he knows how this percentage finally becomes an economical indemnization for victims. This work is reallized by the skillful mathematical actuary, who takes a lot of factors around the victim and translates the percentage into a economical compensation.In this paper we describe one of the procedures utillized in Costa Rica for this, and some practical examples.
