This investigative essay was born from the reading of the book El Esclavo Libre, in which Dr Acosta Guzmán, after a half of century in this abnegate profession decided to advice new doctors using for this purpose aslike a metaphor of freedom the slavery of those who love with passion living to serve the health of the others. In this book he brings important recognition to one of his masters Dr. Joaquin Zeledón Alvarado, it connect us with a primary source of information, Dr. Manuel Zeledón and Lic. Alicia Bogarín, who give us enriched photographic and bibliographic files, very important to us.
