Abstract
PINCHANSKI FACHLER, Silvia; VIQUEZ HIDALGO, Eugenia M and ZELEDON GRANDE, Carmen M. Memorias impuestas. Med. leg. Costa Rica [online]. 2004, vol.21, n.2, pp.07-20. ISSN 2215-5287.
This article is based on a recollection of literature that explores the theme "Implantation of Memories or False Memories". The constant questioning to trauma victims, especially to those that have been victims of sexual aggression, has been one of the themes that causes most controversy in courts. The attacks to the memories and the credibility of the stories of the victims are the central theme to those questionings. These attacks include not only the victim itself, but also the therapists, teachers, interviewers, and even their own mothers and grandparents, among others; being a transcendental issue to be updated in the subject.
Keywords : Memory; trauma; sexual abuse; traumatic memory; repressed memories; confabulations; spontaneous memories; testimony.
