17% of the cases studied by the Work Medicine Section of the Judicial Power in 1999 are reviewed and a relationship is established between the following factors: sex, age, origin, and occupation, associated with the injury suffered, the agent involved, the mechanism of the trauma, accident or work sickness, the disability established by the Work Medicine Section, the National Insurance Institute and the Forensic Medicine Counsel.
