Bone marrow aspirates were obtained from twenty six patients with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia, in chronic phase. Three patients were treated with alfa interferon, two with bone marrow trasplantation, and the remainder with conventional chemotherapy. Cytogenetic studies were performed before and during these treatments. This report summarizes our follow-up with these therapies and the presence of the Philadelphia chromosome.
