The occurrence of a wandering spleen is unusual, and even more a tortioned wandering spleen. The patients may present with various syrnptoms ranging from mild intermittent abdominal pain to an acute abdomen. We present a patient with intestinal obstruction secondary to torsion of a wandering spleen
