We report the case of a 3-year-old female who for several months had unespecific digestive symptoms, weigth loss and iron deficiency anaemia. She suffered an acute abdominal pain episode associated with tenderness that required an exploratory laparotomy. A thrichobezoar was found in the stomach which was associated with a Rapunzel Syndrome Rapunzel Syndrome consists in the formation of a hair- ball or trichobezoar that later develops a hairy tail that extends through the bowel. This produces an achordeon effect resulting in bowel necrosis.
